David Drage (’00) is the Senior ReRecording Engineer at Supersonics post production in Toronto. David has been a sound mixer, editor and recordist since graduating from OIART’s audio and music production program in 2000. He won a Canadian Screen Award for FILM: ACHIEVEMENT IN OVERALL SOUND for the film “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” along with fellow graduate Matt McKenzie (grad ’94) in 2014 (it’s sitting on the console in the photo). His varied career has seen him work with Crunch, Optix, Deluxe and his own Renegade Post Production. David’s current work at Supersonics includes shows such as The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That, Atomic Betty, Caillou, Super Why, Busytown Mysteries, How To Be Indie, Marvel Lego Adventures and Artzooka, where he performs the final mix for television. David has recorded such notable actors as Martin Short, Laurence Fishburne, Adam Sandler, Ryan Reynolds, Christopher Plummer, “…oh, and Drake.”
