This studio includes 4 iMacs with Scarlet 2i2 interfaces and an Isolation booth to record vocals, Foley, Sound Effects or acoustic instruments. This edit suite is where students utilize Pro Tools to get faster with editing and mixing on headphones. Studio 4 simulates what a lot of entry-level editing positions might look like for OIART graduates working in small teams. The lab hours are typically spent working on projects and self-driven tasks that students need to accomplish to ensure their projects sound as good as possible. We have extensive sound libraries as well as subscriptions to the most industry-relevant plugins. Students have access to OIART's Soundly library, making the sound design world endless for their projects.
We give you the skills, resources and tools to produce high quality projects.
The remaining question is “what will you create?”
