Luke Schindler - Alumni Spotlight

Luke Schindler (’13) is an assistant engineer at Revolution Recording in Toronto, one of the top facilities of its kind in North America. In the short time since he graduated OIART, Luke has worked his way from Intern and Runner to one of the studio’s most trusted assistants. Luke has assisted on sessions with artists including Monster Truck, Flash Lightnin’, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Jann Arden, The Tea Party, Whitehorse, and Matthew Barber.



Luke says: “My education from OIART was invaluable. They gave me the knowledge needed to work in this environment, and taught me the skills to take on the situations that arise day to day in the studio. OIART laid the foundation for me to continue learning as I progress in the audio world, and the attention they give to attitude and work ethic are the extra edge when trying to stand out in the industry. I feel extremely fortunate to be in the position I’m in – 2 years out of school – and I’m excited to see where this career takes me. I wouldn’t be where I am without OIART!”
